Experience The Benefits Of FLOATING For Yourself!

Summer is a busy, fun-filled time of year that often leads to burnout and stress. There is mounting evidence that increased stress levels can cause all kinds of health problems, such as, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and many more. That is why it is so important to take time for yourself to re-charge and rest.
Mental health is important to us and is what lead us to the floating industry. There is more and more research showing that flotation therapy decreases stress and irritability and increases mindfulness. A woman once said to us "I notice that when I'm floating regularly, I still have a fuse, it's just much longer."

What is Float Therapy?

Floating is an experience where an individual enters into a float tank (also called a sensory deprivation tank or isolation tank), which is a well-engineered enclosed tub filled with 10” of water and 800-1000 lbs. of dissolved Epsom salt. The tank is insulated to reduce light and sound, while simultaneously keeping the water heated to the average skin temperature. When the water settles, you remain relaxed and still, allowing your body to float effortlessly while reducing stress and tension.

People float to relieve stress, recover from injuries, fight addiction, eliminate chronic pain, and much more... Studies indicate that floating increases your dopamine and endorphin levels, boosting your mood and leaving you with a pleasant afterglow that lasts for days afterward. You’ll likely experience the most complete relaxation you've ever experienced.

Everything you experience while floating comes from within yourself. It's the perfect time to reflect on your life, and give your clarity on both creative and personal insights.

People have cut strokes off their golf game, developed complex scientific theories, and drafted whole portions of books while floating. With nothing to distract you, your level of concentration and knowledge absorption will astound you.

Increase Dopamine

Floating naturally increases your dopamine and endorphin levels, boosting your mood and leaving you with a pleasant afterglow that lasts for days afterwards.

Float Effortlessly

The salty goodness of our tanks allows your muscles to truly relax as you float on your back, effortlessly buoyant; similiar floating in the Dead Sea.

No Outside Noises

Your ears stay just below the water, and the tanks are insulated against sound.
Noise from the outside doesn’t reach you.

Fully Relax

The water is kept at 93.5 degrees. This is skin-receptor neutral, which means you lose track of where your body ends and the water begins.

Replinish Your Body

Our tanks use 850lbs of Epsom salt. This, is the science of floating, but it also is what prevents you from pruning during your float.

Ultimate Meditation

After 30-45 minutes of floating, your mind starts producing theta brainwaves, which are responsible for that 'between waking & sleeping' state.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Do You Keep the Tanks Clean?

Our pods use a special combination of Micron Filtration, Ultra Violet Rays (UV) and Ozone Generators to keep the water crystal clear and safe enough to drink (minus the salt). Our powerful filtration system runs 3 complete cycles in between each float. Also, the high concentration of Epsom Salt makes it extremely sanitary and almost impossible for microorganisms to live.

What should I wear?

We recommend floating in the nude. If you are uncomfortable, you are welcome to bring a swimsuit. However, most people find it distracting from the experience.

What do I need to bring?

Aside from an open mind, not much. We will provide towels, water and tea (with a refreshment bar), shampoo & conditioner and everything else you will need for your experience. If you would like, you can bring any post float items such as deodorant, hairbrush etc.. You will have a private room that locks from the inside to keep your belongings secure.

What If I can’t swim?

No worries, there is only 10” of water in the float tank and the high concentration of Epsom salt allows everyone to float effortlessly.
