WASHBURN UNIVERSITY
RESEARCH STUDY

Did you know that we recently concluded our research project with Washburn University? Here are some of the results of the study.

All participants showed significantly lower stress levels and irritability after multiple float sessions.  They used the REST technique for 60 minutes, once a week, for 4 weeks. These individuals had never floated or meditated before the study.  The findings showed that REST could be a beneficial tool to reach mindfulness without explicit training or instruction. Mindfulness is related to psychological distress, such as anxiety and depression.

We look forward to doing more in-depth research with Washburn in the near future. In the meantime, we will be offering our own 4-week mindfulness program, that will help others reach similar results.
